Real sad deal. He is imprisoned in some hell hole while we are here safe living under the very blanket of freedom He And many others provide.

That just lights a fire the gov. Should go get him screw Mexico shouldn't even ask questions. I have a problem with how the gov handles situations like this, we just send them back to there country when they bring massive amounts of drugs and weapons. Will pray that he gets freed and nothing happens to him.

Sad story, but don't go to other countries and break there laws and then expect nothing to happen. Oh and I don't believe he accidentally crossed the border. I have been down there at the border and it is just a "little" hard to not notice it is a border crossing.

And you can't believe a damn thing Mexico says, it one of the most corrupt countries in world. The sad part is our government will do more to help the ones who invade our country than the ones who defend it.

What the local paper said, he had been down to Tijuana on two other occasions. So he was somewhat familiar with how things go on at the border crossing. There are signs before you get close to the border informing you firearms are illegal in Mexico. There's more to this story we are not getting yet

This is a sad story, and I hope it turns out positive for your co-worker's family. I am not trying to start a debate here, just trying to make some members think a little deeper on the ramifications of his actions.
I know some military guys who disassemble and clean their guns twice a day. Its worse than our brethren messing with our bikes 24/7. After serving time in the military I beleive our country has the responsibility to get them back where they are safe. Reguardless of the story!

Well afternoon 214 days he was released and with no help from the obama administration. Glad he's out of that hell hole.

All our shithead president had to do is make a phone call and he could have got him out months ago, but instead he chose to make our border agents stand down and spending millions of tax dollars sending thousands of illegals all across the country and dropping them off in cities without any notice to the cities. He's let 60-70 thousand illegal alien criminals out of prison into the streets over the past few years but can't help a U S Marine? ? That tells you all you need to know about where he stands for our armed forces. But he did help the top 5 most dangerous people in the world in exchange for a soldier who ran to the taliban while his parents stood next to obama in the rose garden and praised Allah. . I guess these guys are more important than a marine.

I'm glad he got out but what about the other 600+ Americans in Mexican jails, I guess they weren't in the service so they don't matter.
