great to have you Steve!! Did you ever get that starting issue taken care of?
-
Didnt that guy in Ohio have a bunch of parts?. That frame looked brand new if I remember right
-
Hey Joe! Yeah I bit the bullet and wound up buying a new cr ignition as it was not only an upgrade but solved my electrical gremlinz! Thank you again for offering me your parts to swap and test out!! Yeah 05450 he had a bunch of parts from what he told me but was unrealistic with pricing, so I am sure he still has all those parts! He told me he knew the Gallagher family and got this frame from John Sr.
-
Yeah he was high on alot of that stuff, and it was on there for a long time. That frame was really nice though! I think he had a Psi cyl also

Yeah I drove all the way to Ohio with my buddy Lou to buy that frame from him, and a full LSR bike! When I got there he tried to sell me a linkage with bad bearings and a shock that looked like he took it apart in his basement and forgot how to put it back together for 500, I told him no thanks and I guess that rubbed him the wrong way, because he was like oh my daughter is inside I have to go now. So I never got to see his stash of parts but from what he said on the phone he had some "Rare" stuff.
Yeah the frame looked like it had never been ridden from what I could tell, the swingarm had some ugly welds(Looks like MIG) from someone trying to finish it was his story but it feels stout so I wasn't worried. The only other thing's that made me pissed I guess you could say is he never got around to welding in upper rad scoop tabs and not tapping the front bumper mounts so its just empty holes that are 1/2" id... I improvised by using threaded rod but I hope it never takes a bad impact cause I don't know how well it will hold up.
