hey guys ill be making my way down from washington to ride at coos bay and florence and all the good places down there. what all do i need to ride there? can i use wash tabs and registration? is there a riders coarse i need to complete? anything else im missing here?? when i come down i hope to meet up with some of you guys to ride!!

You can pick up an out of state registration at any of the bike shops (there is a nice one in coos bay) just have your vin ready.

Title will be more than fine and the atv shop I use prefers it.. All my tags have been marked aftmkt lsr frame in the vin# area since my lsr frame doesn't have a vin#. I live in Coos Bay and they are pretty laxed around here as long as your not obviously drunk or a danger to yourself and everyone else on the dunes. The sound might get the attention of the state forestry people, but it has to be pretty obnoxious.

ATV safety cards, $10 OHV tag, and $30 Forest Service pass unless you want to pay the (usual) $5 day use fees.

When will you be out riding? I'll be back in Portland on Thursday and hope to have both R's on the sand in a couple of weeks.

man i really dont know when the next time ill be riding. all this nice weather and i cant do shit. i sent my cylinder out to neil about 3 months ago and im still waitin on it to come back. hes pretty busy man with racing season so its understandable. im really hoping to get riding soon. i know a big group of guys going down july 20th. thats the main one but i wana go a few times before that ya know

Make sure to get your safety card rangers do check for that if they pull you over. Lets meet up at Winchester the dunes are bigger & way less trails lol

I go to Winchester as much as possible. Good place to break in this FTZ race cylinder you can borrow. The guy I got it from burned it up there.:lol:

The loaner FTZ race cylinder bored .030" over is headed your way Pat. Sent you new gaskets and piston. Post a pic when you get the cylinder put on with piston at TDC.

That is really very cool of you Tony! I will never make it to Coos Bay or Winchester, BUT I think it is amazingly cool that you would loan a cylinder, gaskets, and a NEW PISTON so a fellow R rider can go play in the sand. That is unheard of around here, nothing but a bunch of assholes and cornfields here in Indiana! Huge props Tony!

tony has gone out of his way for me yet again. first he sent me paint from his own supply with filter and all kinds of stuff and also step by step directions. now the cylinder with gaskets and what not. im very thankful!! cant wait to make a trip down to ride
