Post by: pantera1975 on May 13, 2014, 10:30:39 PM
I want to get either a brand new DS90 or a Polaris outlaw 90. my friend has 2 Polaris outlaw 90's  (2012 and 2014 and had good luck. I want to get another for my kids. Any feed back would be great. Thanks

I agree with jesse or the drr. One other option is to get an older used polaris 2 stroke 90. You can grab some used aarms etc at a good price in atv riders mini section and blow away the newer smog slow 90 4 stroke mini's. It will perform for your child until it is time for yfz250/blaster/stk R etc without them wanting to take a nap while turning laps around the kids camp track. I had a plaris 2 stroke 90 and a kymco(they make the kawasaki kfx mini) 4 stroke. Both good quads for the kids but the 2 stroke is a different animal with much more to be had if you want to do pipe etc to make them like the apex drr come. As a matter of fact if you get a 2 stroke polaris 90 you can get the mini racers pull off parts from the apex and drr to put on your polaris 90 for some great deals.

yes they have the most maximum potential, and if it is too much for your child, just turn the throttle cable limiter in and like etccb said they wont quickly outgrow the power delivery, and will last until they are ready to move up to a medium sized bike.

If you are going new go with the Apex.

If you don't mind used get an LT80.  I have 2 LT80's and with slight engine modifications they rip!

I have a dinosaur lt50 with lots of cancer. Tiny little thing but that rip. I got a LT80 too that need a full over haul.

Pisterpro quads are awesome. I don't see much talk about them though. They come fully loaded, tires, rims, fox shocks. Only down side I see is they are dam expensive.

My vote would be for the apex or drr. The Lt 80 does not have rear shock travel.. My kids loved to jump. With them jump the quad they ended cracking the engine case because it is the swing arm.
Jack Moore port my cylinder and modified the rear shoes  With a Trinity pipe the quad r stock pipe  the quad hauls.
