Title: Laeger Protrax LT250R
Post by: bnau267 on May 23, 2014, 07:48:45 AM: Anyone know where there might be a LT250R (Suzuki) Laeger Protrax with an owner interested in selling? I've only ever seen the Kory Ellis Suzuki but one would think Laeger made more than one. Seen old for sale posts and build posts on other sites but nothing in the last year or so. PS - I know this is the wrong site to ask the question but folks in here run in the same circle.

Post by: atvmxr on May 23, 2014, 10:45:47 AM: hahaha, I just shipped the JP hybrid yesterday. to a guy in Washington state. he contacted me on the other trx site. I had no interest in selling it, but everything is for sale at the right price.

i know of an actual Laeger frame with the suzuki 250 motor in Iowa I believe on another site. but it was completely redone and I think he wanted $8 or 9K for it. I sold the JP for $7k

Post by: atvmxr on May 23, 2014, 09:11:37 PM: There is a Honda on the other site, laeger frame, ct 330 power valve pro trax that he wants 7500 for. And I think it's a pretty fair price. Aftermarket frame, plus protrax, plus shocks, plus good motor is gonna put you close to 10k then you have plastics electronics wheels etc etc. gotta pay to play!!!

He took the +4 pro trax front end off and put it on his trx that is a laeger narrow cr500 frame. The lt laeger is real close to the trx frames, the arms and stem are the same.

with the help of a welder friends, I completely changed and restored it to participate at the championship of my area.
it is a true racing machine and I'm happy to leave first before the 2014 ATV
but the chassis is rigid and tiring and it's hard to hold a full race
