Pulled the swinger off to install the new bearings and found it had been welded previously and there is a small crack in the weld. one side of the swinger had also been welded on and is kind of jacked. Trying to decide if i want to have it re welded or pick up another 88/89 swinger.

Imo I would get another. Or if you ride hard ditch it and get a steel one. I never had good luck with the aluminum ones. Welded them up on more than one occasion. Course we had a Walsh steel one crack before also.
