had a great time, my led exhaust transformed my bike into a whole new beast. besides my dad eating sand after toppling over on his tri-z, the only malfunction was a blown seal on my front left shaw.
my brother in law bought a gopro, all the vids were recorded from his helmet on his atc250r. im on my white 250 quad. here is some pics and a link to all the videos.
in the arm drop racing video, the first race you can see me blow away all the 450s, the next race my brother in law spanks a piped banshee on his piped atc, the next few i missed 2nd gear every time and just quit racing but still good footage. i love going out on these old sexy bikes, we got soo much attention it was unreal.
enjoy!

Super cool riding spot man! I love that!
-
Such a great spot, loved the vids and the R's as well!!
-
sick videos man

thanks guys, it was quite alot of fun, although there was way less people there than usual, due to a storm the night before. although it didnt rain much, the chance of storms runs people off. a couple years ago there was a hail storm and tons of people got stuck out on the sand during the jamboree in the hail so a chance of storms and alot of people stay home now lol.
i think its cool my dad at 67 years old is still out there rocking the tri-z! soon though he is going to have to get something bigger like a 4x4, working the trike through the sand is hard on his hips.
-
67?!?!? Give that guy a high five!
-
ya lol you can see him through the vids on the tri-z, and the one called "don biffs it" is some good trails and then at the end is his rear tire falling off a 5ft sand bank and him falling face first down it and the tri-z landing on top of him lol. he had a sore shoulder for a couple days but was ok eventually.
-
Nice R's.. but don't make your dad ride that Tri-Z
-
Dang it...guess that's what I get for not sending a pm on when this was lol
Always next year....

We used to travel out to Genoa some but it's been a couple years now. Pretty fun running through the Sand whoops in 5th pinned lol those things go for several hundred yards
-
Sand whoops are the best, silverlake is full of them! I'd say there's about a 200 yard stretch and another 100 yard stretch. The long one though is at the end of the hills, then you turn 90 degrees onto them. Usually starting in 2nd or 3rd and shifting to 5th or maybe even 6th through the 2-3ft whoops. It's a riot! Unless you're on stock suspension that is lol

The last time I was there (Genoa) is the first time I ran my 250R after a complete build, The PEP's were great in the whoops. LOL I especially like the looks people give you when they are just rolling through the whoops, and we fly by looking like manics to them I'm sure!

haha absolutely!

YEP thats a ginger with his ding a ling hangin out LOL.
the shaws do very well on the whoops, i usually take them about 4th gear, there is TONS of them out here though, the wind doesnt blow the sand or anything so they are just there and just get more and more. very fun tho!
sam there is another jamboree this fall, hopefully more people show up! the more the merrier!
