Title: Graydon pro line nerf webs
Post by: d-rock on June 11, 2014, 12:09:25 AM
Hi guys, Does anyone know where I can get webbing to fit older Graydon pro line Nerf bars. Or if webbing from another style Nerf will fit. Looking for black. I tried contacting Graydon , but no response.

Thanks. Derek.

Derek, a couple options for you:
1)  look up the different styles that AC Racing sells (replacement nets). you might be able to match/find something that fits the Graydons
2)  make your own.  purchase the material from strapworks.com and sew them up yourself or take them to a shoe repair shop and have them sew it.

Joe, have you ever made your own?  Just wondering if it can be done by hand or if you need an industrial sewing machine.   I have 2 sets of Graydons and one set is in need of new nets.

I have never made my own.  i'm sure it can be done by hand....but I would go (find) someone that has a sewing machine to do the job.....shoe repair shop or an upholstery shop would be the cheapest way (I think)

I would purchase the material, lay out the pattern and put a dab of hot glue to hold in place....and then sew.

I believe the material is also available on Ebay.  Hopefully Sameltoe will chime in...I believe he made some.

I've made my own...got the nylon from ebay marked out how I wanted them with sewing pins and had moms sew them up with her every day standard machine.(http://i1347.photobucket.com/albums/p701/samw450r/20130818_172814_zpsc8785cd8.jpg) (http://s1347.photobucket.com/user/samw450r/media/20130818_172814_zpsc8785cd8.jpg.html)
