Title: What exhaust

I am building a 86 atc 250r for trails. It will have a pump gas ported 265 topend ported bottom to mid range,cr 250 ignition, vf3 reeds and a 38mm carb I was wondering what was the best exhaust to run with this setup

You really only have 3 options fmf,esr atc5,or pt hi rev...you can get a used fmf for a good price on ebay...could run great for you application...

i think most ppl are gona say all around pipe is the trx5.. lowend pipe would be the trx6-7. but of course there is others. i had a paul turner race pipe that was pretty good. but i have the 5 now and can tell the difference.

Everbody that has esr says they like it. I have a CT and it is all midrange.  Works great on the track.  The FMF is a low end pipe.  I put one on mine and I had tons of bottom end but didnt have the power I did with the ct.

the atc5 pipe is a good midrange pipe also, not the greatest for overrev tho.

Does anyone know the difference between esr atc ps exhaust and the atc 5

looking at the listing it is the atc5 pipe i think it is just the package deal with the black silencer. be aware they are not actually chromed, only nickel plated and the coating is thin.
