Title: Intake boot
Post by: Dreamer on June 24, 2014, 11:21:06 AM
Looking for a motor side intake boot that is still pliable with no cracks. Going to be going on a 38mm carb so it needs to stretch.

this is your best bet: http://www.ebay.com/itm/UPP-Intake-Manifold-38-39mm-TRX250R-ATC250R-TRX250-ATC250-TRX-ATC-250R-250-R-/191225076882?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c85e71c92&vxp=mtr

but my personal choice is a boyesen rad valve: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xboyesen+rad+valve+trx250r&_nkw=boyesen+rad+valve+trx250r&_sacat=0&_from=R40

Get the carb bells sides machined to turned down!
I had mine done by ESR and I don't have to wrestle with anything when installing.
And cheaper to machine carb bells than buying aftermarket intake. It was cheaper for me but also another option.

Mine had cracks in it alrady and just got worse when i tried to install it so i need a new one anyway. I also already have v force 3 reeds to i don't really want to buy the boyseen and replace it.
