Hello! Im joining the site due to the purchase of a trx250r with a ct350 pv engine. I havent had a two stroke atv for quite a few years, but have been riding a heavily modified 400ex and a cr500af.
Ive always missed my old trusty 250r so I figured I might as well play with smoke again!
I will probably be bugging you guys for some tuning help with this motor, the bike was built a while back and the guy who owned it has it in very good shape, but he broke his ankle and it hasnt been ridden in a few years.

Right now I am just trying to get it to run right.
It starts ok (kicks back a little) idles fair, has decent low end but wont rev. take off in gear and pin the throttle and it revs about 1/4-1/2 of what I would expect and just lays down.
so far I installed new plug, fresh 2 stroke mix, cleaned carb and powervalve. going to make sure float isnt set too low next. (kinda what it acts like..
any suggestions are welcome!
