Title: License Plate Frames
Post by: Rupp250 on July 25, 2014, 01:36:42 PM
Any interest in making a 250r one? Or a .org one? I would take 2 unpolished if so.

I don't really care about the material as I am going to paint them both black. Whatever is the easiest for you and what the most people want is good.

Im in for 2-3! I would prefer TRX 250r  vs a .org one. Chrome would be more durable around here with the midwest street salt. A powder coated black would be awesome too.

Don't understand why you would post this in the 250r forum?  You can go buy your cadillac license frame anywhere. So polished stainless or cheap mild steel will be offered with TRX250R or TRX250R.org. I believe I started this project awhile back. Let me check and cut some samples today. Will post pics a little later.

The TRX250R will be cut out on the license plate holder. You can't color whats not there. But my old man mounted red plastic behind his Cadillac cutout.

I know you are on the very intelligent side John, I did not realize you were poking fun. I do take members suggestions as serious. Sometimes it is hard to tell when someone is messing with you. I apologize for any miscommunication!

I will have to spend some time and get the software organized to save on cut time. As  it sits now they are at $15 each unfinished. I will try to reorganize the cutting to get them down to less that $10 each.

You guys are killing me. Just started a huge project at work. My time is extremely limited. The .org program I got from Troybuilt needs to be converted into a do able cutting program. Proly going take a few days of programing which I won't have for awhile.

Great news guys, JesseA420 said he would take a look at the dxf file and see if he could improve the cut time on it so we could all afford these .org plates. Thanks Jesse in advance. Members watching out for members!
