So I'm about to install my brand Ricky stator on my bike but I noticed the wire color on the two single connectors are colored different then the ones on the OEM harness
Does anyone know which one connects to what?
Bike is a 86
Thanks

The easiest way to fix this problem is by returning that Ricky stator before you instal it, and buying a used oem. Because that Ricky stator will last maybe 1 season

Yeah what he said^^^^^^^^^^
You know better AJ

I always thought Ricky stators worked decent on the Honda ?
If I had a OEM laying around I would use it
My current one is barely keeping up ha

Probably won't now

Heck put it on and if it works, it works. You can always buy an OEM down the road.
P.S. I have a couple and will keep 1 with me when we need to go ride for a spare for you good buddy.:fighting0071:

I know several guys using high output ricky stators without problems.
A lot of tecate guys run ricky stators because the oem are junk.

Ive run a high output stator from them for 3 years, no problems at all. Good customer service as well when I talked to them. They make a race style wiring harness for the TRX now as well

I run a 200watt ricky and flywheel that i bought used so i can run my Baja Designs HIDs and work great
