Title: Rear Brakes
Post by: zcarlson12 on August 19, 2014, 07:15:05 PM
I decided to get all new rotors and pads for the R. Started with the rear because of my axle nut issue and when I took the pads out of the caliper I saw this.  Is the right piston crushed? I've never really looked at it before so I don't know what it looks like behind the pads.

They came with a cork/asbestos/? washer to reduce heat transfer. If the caliper works well I would use a washer or coin as a filler. I think a nickel works on the fronts.

Thanks for the info. They work great so I'll give that a try.
