i was trying to load that up the other day but it kept saying it was an invalid file.  Did I get that from you originally from atvriders?

I think you did.  I went thru the microfiche on service honda and documented every bolt... LOL!  Other than the internal stuff and case bolts I believe.

I did this along time ago with intentions of putting a sick bolt kit together, just haven't yet.

John was asking about swingarm pivot bolt specs. I think we were lead to believe the stock 250r bolt was stronger than the cheaper newer replacements by the salesman on the old site. Something about stronger steel being more expensive to produce. A piston is a piston and a a bolt is a bolt IMO. The stock 250r swinger bolt has been discontinued. I have used the 400ex ones since they came out on my wheelers.....no issues what so ever.

I wanted the specs to find a Ti bolt at possibly a lower price than fourwerks.  i intent to start getting Ti bolts and see what kind of weight i can save.  I just need to stop being cheap and spend some money.

Ive used 450r bolts like Sam said. They are "hollow" which allows you to tap and install a grease zert on one end,tap and small bolt on the other end as a plug. Drill a couple small holes where the bearings/sleeves are and you have a greeseable swingarm. Helpful for you guys that ride in mud and water.

how much weaker do you guys think the 450r swing arm pivot bolt is compared to the 250r ones

I wish someone had a decent kit all packaged up, instead of the stainless bolt kits for fresh builds.  Anyone know of any good ones?
