i have a ESR BB 5 pipe having problems keeping it sealed up at slip joint down by the A arms.i have tried rvt hi temp copper gasket maker but it only holds up for a day or two . what are you guys using that works good ?

Blk rtv let it sit over night!

I use permatex ultra black, it's supposed to be more oil resistant than the blue. It works almost too good.

same here the black seems to work much better than the orange or blue stuff

if it is a newer style, shouldnt it have a big o-ring inside there?

I have used the Red high temp RTV and Threebond 1211. Most of the sealants seem to work well. The most important part is to try to let it sit for 24 hours or alteast over night if possible.

From the stinger to the silencer they do, but at the head-pipe to expansion chamber it is just a slip fit.
