I bought this 1987 Suzuki LT500 Quadzilla from NASCAR driver Casey Mears right before he moved to Tennessee to begin his NASCAR career. I really regret selling it and if I could find it I would buy it back in a heart beat. Great bike, so much power. I will own another one day. I really like the looks of the 89' and 90'

Very nice zilla
I feel your pain
One bike I regret selling was my first trx250r
It was my grandfathers bought brand new in 86 ,then my dads then mine ,when I got it ,it was worn down I was 13 at the time but I loved it
Rode the crap out of it ,went threw many topends and a rod
Turned 18 got a job ,did a full rebuild ,I mean everything ,bearings, seals, gaskets
,brand new OEM electrics ,Frame was OG paint ,never rolled ,had a lot of OEM stuff aswill
Had a full ESR built 310 motor it wasn't the fastest but it was reliable

Ported R that's a beautiful bike. Great history behind it too!
-
Thank you
Before I sold it I had installed silver dune cut maiers with a carbon fiber hood

My first bike when I was 6 was a '75 XL70 that my dad got from my uncle. My second bike was a '77 XR75 that my dad got from my same uncle when I was 8. I sold the XR to our neighbors kid when I was 19 for $125 & he destroyed it. It kill's me to this day that I got rid of it, especially now that I have a son. Other than that I've never sold any of my other bikes. I still have the '75 XL70 & plan on fixing it up for my boy when he gets a little older, he's a little over 1 now.

i actually regret selling all the old machines when i consider the amount of money i put into them. i had a 95 yamaha warrior, 1998 banshee and a 2000 400ex, (think i have the years correct) and the amount of money in engine and chassis components i spent i could of had 5 laeger trx250rs.lol its expensive to be a slow learner.haha

I regret selling this one

My ol' 1986 XR80. Kick myself all the time for selling it

1. Alsport Tri-Sport with the factory CCW twin cyl 340cc.
At the time it felt like running a Top Fuel rail thru the woods. NO suspension, solid axle and light the rear tires at will, at any speed. Good times
2. 86 TRX250R that I bought new and then turbo charged that same year. Nothing like todays stuff, but in 86 it was bad azz. I kept the turbo kit I made for it so I could recreate it, but not sure it would be the same

That cdale is sick! I always wanted one of those and for those who remember, the VOR 530.
-
I agree with zcarlson12, that cannondale is awesome! And it seems like there's a trend with the little dirt bikes being a regret. They are a ton of fun!!

Thanks for the c-dale praise!

I regret selling my first ride. 1983 CR 80 man that thing felt so fast at 9 years old lol

First quad I ever rode was a 1987 kawasaki bayou 300. My uncle bought it new. So I saved up all my money that I could and bought a 1985 suzuki quadsport 230. I paid my dues on that quad. Then around 1993 I bought this 1987 kawasaki tecate 4. I loved this quad. My first taste of 2-stroke power! The guy I bought it from originally purchased it to go ice fishing with!!! It was really nice. I sold it in 1996 after I purchased a brand new 1995 banshee. I wish I had that one back. I have bought 2 tecate 4's recently but they can't replace THAT ONE!!!(http://i937.photobucket.com/albums/ad218/bansoutty8/classicquads_zpsa43ed4bb.jpg) (http://s937.photobucket.com/user/bansoutty8/media/classicquads_zpsa43ed4bb.jpg.html)

The Tecate....I would love to add an 86 or 87 Tecate 3 to keep my 88R company :)

I wish I would have kept this 87 around, my pops got it from a buddy of his in 94 when i was 14. Didn't know much about R's back then.

Thanks Kevin I miss it slightly don't miss that long chassis to turn around, but I will say it was a comfy ride almost like a caddy.
