Title: You tube gurus. Help!
Post by: Grande huevos on September 05, 2014, 08:31:01 AM
This is my first time editing and loading a video to you tube and am having some trouble. I got an email saying my video was loaded and now I have to publish. I went through the process and can watch it on my phone, but when I search it from another device it can't be found? Also I copied the link sent it to my wife and my brother. My brother said the link took him to a video of jimmy Fallon and my wife's phone said the video can't be viewed on a cellular device..... So how do I fix this???  Please help!

I got into the mobile device issue when I used music that did not belong to me.  Not sure if you added music.

Now on the other issue about publishing, I can't remember doing anything specific, but it did take some time to become available.

What the name of your video? And did you upload it from a go pro and also what kind of computer you use? Mac or another brand?

I guess I'll just wait and see what happens then. It was a video I edited on the go pro cinema software then uploaded from computer. It's a custom built PC  so that shouldn't be the issue

Only reason i asked is because on my mac i have to store it in a certain folder before i can successfully post it otherwise i have issues. Especially if i edit the video in the go pro editing or any other kind of video editing softwares. On a pc i dont know cause i neve use them but that could be your issue. Just a guess though

in your youtube video manager page, after a video uploads you have to hit a button that says publish. you can hit the button before it is done uploading also.
