It's going in the Laeger. My 310 motor is due for a bottom end tear down.

Very nice.  Looks cool with the unfinished raw casting.  You going with the ESR clutch cover?

Yes it has esr's clutch cover. I was going with black stock cases and shiney covers. The need for cases was a last minute decision, lead time for esr's powder coating and a dune trip to Idaho in October so raw it is. I think I'll squirt it with some high temp clear and put black side covers on it now.

Looks good. It has a modern factory racing team look to it imo. What color billet did you go with on the clutch cover and what ign cover/color?

Coming from Arlan, that is a large statement if hes impressed, with as many years as hes delt with 250Rs.

With that new cnc and probe setup I dont think you will be able to get any more true and square stuff for your R then what they are doing.

Trying to get ahold of Esr for the black clutch cover, right now it has a polished one. The cover alone is not listed on his website and we all know getting Eddie on the phone isn't easy. Monday I might call Arlan and see if he can't reach him. I'm also going to ask about an black anodized ignition cover without a logo on it. I have a painted one on it now.
