Title: my wifes new pink bike

i kno its not a 250, but she loves it. stripped her down in one day, got it all put back together in 3 days with only a couple hours of work each day :) . it is still an ongoing project, next will be vinyl decals, handlebars, seat cover. then next year tax time it is going to get a +2 round tube swinger. it also got a set of my pegs i made a little while back on there, they are top notch!
the only thing that sucks is our local powder coater is a derp. he said "o ya no problem color matching the base coat of the grill piece to the frame powder color(which by the way is a standard RAL color). my wife brings the grill piece home, although the waterdip carbon fiber look does look real good, it is WAYY darker than the frame. guess i am going to have to make the hour drive next time to an actual custom powder shop next time :( o well it still is decent so far.

Who did you use for powder-coating? I have used this guy http://www.topdogpowdercoating.com/
and they did a good job on mine and my buddies stuff about 3 years back.

j&b powdercoating in aurora. i was thinking going to either them (topdog) or http://www.deuceswildpowdercoating.com/

either way even tho i notice the color mismatch, the wife is happy thats all that matters right :)

lool its just an internet thing, i use it to refer to people who you look at, and they have that glossy eyed look, when u just know there is nothing but crickets going on inside there lol.  update here is some new pics, got the fresh powder on the handlebars, got the crappy gfx taken off and got the new seat cover on.
