I have a larger pro trax chassis with the CR500 rear link, i would like the no link setup. Please let me know what you have, pic and price.
-
I'm not 100% sure but I think the CR link frames and no link Laegers frames share the same top rear shock mount. So all you really would need is the no link swinger and shock.
-
Yes. Laeger no link will bolt right to a cr500 link frame. But the air box won't clear
-
I might be willing to trade you my no-link setup for your CR500 depending on condition
Here's mine

You could always convert it to. Wouldnt be that hard. Just need to weld on the swing arm at the right distance. Heck you may be able to get a shock that goes to the linkage hole in the Laeger CR500 Linkage mount in the swing arm.

So theoretically I should be able to buy a cr500 link swinger and shock and replace my current no-link setup with it?

You would need to fabricate and weld the CR500 linkage bracket to the no link Laeger's frame. I have done this to a stock replacement Laeger's frame, converted the stock link over to CR500 link.

no the cr500 link is off set to the side. But coverting a CR500 link to a no link would just be a matter of connecting the dots, and having the shock still off set and not using a linkage. There is more to it that than. Shaft up and down travel. But it may work.
-
Both no link and CR link Laeger frames share the same top rear shock mount location, to convert a no link Laeger frame one would need to fabricate and weld the CR linkage attachment bracket to the no link frame. To convert a stock link frame to CR link both the top shock mount and linkage attachment brackets need to be converted to CR link.

I didnt realize the no link Leagers where off set as well. Good to know. So all you would need is a no link swinger to make a CR500 link to a no link .

Not sure if a standard no link swing arm would work, are any no link setups offset also? I know my LSR DC4 swing arm has the shock centered. Would need to find a no link swing arm that is offset the same amount that the upper shock mount is offset, may not be that easy.

My no-link is offset just like the cr500. So all I would need is to weld on a CR500 linkage mount

Try contacting Walsh Racecraft, I know he use to sell a kit that would convert stock 250R frames to CR500 link. I bet he would sell you the bracket you would need for the CR link
