i am having a leaking issue from my lectron 38mm.  i have had it apart, cleaned everything and confirmed floats are correct.  lectron and their owner are offering no help.  does anyone have a remedy for this?  i do not have the funds for a new carb at this junction so i need an alternative solution.  thank you for any help.

lectrons can be funny about leaking sometimes I dont know why, try to over the adjust the floats to see if it will stop, if not then purchase a new needle.
do you have the all metal needle or rubber tip style

it is all metal.  i heard the seat could be bad but i dont know how to confirm.  thanks rsss396.

I have lightly polished the needle's tip on the buffer before making sure it was smooth but that probably did not do anything, adjusting the float more than normal usually fixes it.

What type of riding you do? Motor specs? I would think a 38 AS or 39 Pwk would be a better choice? Every Lectron I've seen leaks. Also always strain your fuel while pouring into your tank. The littlest piece of dirt can cause issues.

i have a oem jug ported with a 76mm stroke.  i have a rad valve and 01 cr250r ignition.  14.25 compression ratio, running 110 octane; 210 psi.

Besides the leak, I think your bike would run better with one of the carbs I mentioned. Lectrons are more of a drag carb, they won't be as good for bottom to midrange.

i adjusted the floats to an extreme.  although, the float bowl is filled it hasnt leaked.  im wondering if it will still run rich???  will find out when my suspension is returned.
