Title: esr porting question
Post by: bkstoffe on September 25, 2014, 06:10:13 PM
Sorry for all the questions lately... but here is another...
I bought a fresh cylinder (pro-x) that ESR ported for the previous owner before he decided not to use it.
under the reeds it is carved ESR PV11 77
I bought it with the understanding that it was a 350 powervalve cylinder, but recently I saw a post that said the 77 on esr porting meant it was ported for a stroker crank.
Is this true? if so would that be a 5mm crank?  I called ESR but no answer, I know Eddie is busy so thought Id ask the gurus here..
my  plan was stock stroke long rod crank but curious now..
thanks!

that is a 350 cylinder probably a 78mm thats the first bore, with a 77mm crank which is a +5 making it a 370. the PV11 is esr's 11 porting.
