Post by: ayomainstreet101 on July 14, 2013, 01:29:39 AM
I just bought a Ricks cdi and it firing way to soon and forceing the motor in reverse, so looking to buy 88-89 cdi that works the quicker the better.

There should be some available. I have purchased 4 of the cr ignitions but they were all for 87. I believe you have to have the 88-89 version. Keep trying here or check ebay.http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-88-89-TRX250R-FOURTRAX-250R-CDI-BOX-/360691027971?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53fadc5003&vxp=mtr

Double the price(almost) compared to that ebay one. Same thing I'm telling ya. Just like his Service Honda cr500 re-branded BDT ignition. I was told by him it was brand new oem honda in package. That package was a ziploc baggie. They ARE brand new though. I just hate being lied to more than anything!
