Title: 88-89 peg mount question
Post by: JesseA420 on November 04, 2014, 07:56:00 AM
how does the mounts on the 88-89 hold up compared to the bolt on mounts of the earlier models? i havent seen them im person, but by looking at the way they pin and pivot, the stop spot where the peg contacts the frame while pivoting, and the pin hole would wear out and they would sag from wear. is this the case? are the older design of bolting them on better in the long run?

I like mounts to 88-89 better than my 86-87! What makes you think 88-89 wear faster? Mine are fine only parts that wear on 88-89 would be pin and washers that are on peg, but that is my bike others may have a different story
