First off; I haven't been on the old site very much for the last year or so. So please excuse any ignorance here.
Was there a need for another R site? This site seems to be very similar to the old site???
My only complaint with the old site was the amount of newbies that don't know anything about an R.
Don't get me wrong, "long live the R and all", but how many times do you have to explain how to adjust jetting?
Anyways, if anyone can tell what is different about this site than the other one, please let me know :)
P.S. FYI, I am selling an '86 for $1200 near Fresno, CA if anyone is interested.

BDT BDT BDT ****** ****** ******!!!!!!!!!!!! enough said!!!!!!

Ahhh, good 'ol ******.... Oddly enough I too have had some disgruntled postings in the past.
When the site went from Rcentral to what it is now, things kinda changed then. A couple of years ago when it got it's makeover, things really kinda were crap after that. Hence why I quit viewing.
In a conceded way, I missed seeing myself as the site banner when it changed too. (I was the silhouette guy).
Glad to see another site ran by members!!!

Learning from past mistakes, we put in a censor on the keep the language to tolerable level. Our kids will want to read up on these in the future. The shout box cab be used for real time help when you run into a problem. The tech section and a few more stickies will help you learn what to do if you have questions. Welcome to the new site. If you see something that does not belong here feel free to report it. If you see something we missed let the staff know and we will discuss how to get that info out there.

This new site is moderated and owned by 250r owners! Proper threads get stickied, stupid/ignorant comments and threads get deleted, morons get banned.
This will be an actively improved site with motivated owners and moderators. No laissez-faire crap like .NET

It's for...We the People!

As for the newbs, hopefully we get a jetting database here and can point them in the direction of reading some stickies or FAQ.

Have to agree here, I stopped viewing after that certain builder took over and ran it to the ground. But this site is already better, so we can move on. BTW I loved the old silhouette with the sand roost.
