Right now I dont know what brand mine is but it's time for a new one and I'm thinking either the Fly Trekker or AFK style dual sport.
Anyone ever try these?

Picked up 2 Suomy MX Jump helmets (Jackpot & S-Line) for the past season and absolutely love them. Sizing is a bit different than normal. They are incredibly light - way lighter than the Arai and Shoei ones I've had in the past. Going price is $360 which is a great deal for the quality IMO.

I have an older mx style shoei (probably about 12 years old). I love the fit, hate the air flow and it feels like a one ton crew cab strapped to my head. A lot has changed in materials over the past years and helmets are a bunch lighter. I am I need of a change so I'll be checking back on this thread.
Best regards

I like those supermoto style helmets. I want to buy one but I'm on the fence. Goggles are much easier to clean on the fly compared to the personal windshield of the supermotos.
I have a O'Neal. Great helmet but I should retire it. If all else fails I could use the biggest coconut I can find:p

I have a troy lee design mx helmet
Love it ,money well spent
Even after 5 years it still fits awesome

I have an AFX. I went to get a helmet at a local shop and tried on a lot of different helmets. That is the onley one that I found that fit comfortably. It amazes me that sizes and shapes of helmets are so different between manufacturers. If you have a place to try some on that is the best option.

I am a goggle guy for off road myself.

I have a 2015 Fox V1 and love it. I'm not a huge critic of helmets. I'm not shelling out $400 for one. As long as mine is Snell and DOT approved i'm good
The clear visor on that is pretty interesting. Might have to try that out

The helmets with a face shield get dust on the back of the shield, inside the helmet. You can wipe off the outside with your gloved hand but not the inside. Plus wiping scratches the shield. Goggle lenses are cheaper than face shields to replace after scratching them up. My 2 cents.

yup that's my concern

I just picked this up for my little boy. (http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/1007_3651_2017-04-18_8086.jpg) $100 helmet, I only paid $35 for it on fleeBay (brand new). Should match well with his little yellow 2002 Suzuki LTA-50 I just picked up for him.

My helmets......(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/118_3652_2017-04-18_4217.jpg)
The oldest one is the Rick Johnson Copy that Honda gave me when I won my first race on a TRX250r......Before That my first helmet was a Moto 3....Then moved up to a Moto 4 which is mainly the one I wore when I raced the ATC250r....In another six months I am going to sell all of them....If you guys are interested let me know....

I started with one of those 1970's full face helmets with the blue sparkle of the time. Hand me down used piece of junk. You were lucky to have a visor back then. Now I get a new O'Neal helmet and matching gear from Rocky mountain every couple years. I have a blue, red and green set for color coordinating my 3 bikes.
