I'm cleaning out some items I've had for a while. I have about 1/4 of all items listed on ebay now.
Some current items are 88 engine cases (no damage, and original bearings and seals) an OEM ignition key, CR250R igntion with adapter plate, ESR silencer, 88 OEM seat cover.
Coming items will be OEM frames, 88-9 swingarm and a new in box OEM 86 seat along with a lot of other TRX parts.
Hope this helps!
Jason

Yea, the case halves are interchangesable in all years 85-9. There were minor revisions to them, but they all work together. The colors are the most obvious differences with 85, 88-9 being black and 86-7 being a type of silver gray.

Oh yeah, Jon did a great move starting this site. All the 250r peeps got banned or left the other site. Hear no, speak no, see no BDT here!!! Got some really knowledgeable members here to work with without having a salesman derail our threads.

I'm really glad you guys put it together and it's working. A solution to people's problem was created.

I listed a handful more items. Most rare is probably the new in box 86 seat.
I also have 3 frames in various conditions, 2 with CA titles, 1 with no title. I do not know how to ship these bulky frames. If you are in so cal, or know an easy way to get them shipped, let me know. I'll post pics after they are cleaned up if you need frames.

gayhound would probably be the cheapest. I just got some brand new fenders shipped to me from one side of texas to the other for $44 with $400 insurance

fedex, ups, usps.

I know those companies will ship, but how do you package a frame though so it's protected adequately, and it not cost excessively in time and materials?

The only frame ive ever shipped i wrapped in refrigerator box that i cut up and sent it to NY from TX. Fed ex was the cheapest at a little over $200. UPS wanted like $400 and the fed-ex store wouldnt take it shrink wraped so i had to take it to the main terminal. All that running around was fun carrying the frame in and out of the stores lol.

Yea I imagine. I know it's done on a routine basis, but it's the first time that's the hardest if you don't know what you're doing.
If it inspires any inside knowledge from anyone, the frames are:
89 - cracked in various places, and pretty heavily worn. I can tig weld these items, or leave the original condition to someone who wants to analyze it's condition and work with it. Has CA title.
88 - not cracked, but is a bit weathered. I'd say it's a moderately used, but not abused frame. The engine was still on the original bore when I pulled it apart. I'll get it cleaned and waxed and that will reveal it's potential better. Has CA title.
86 - a very nice frame. Paint is still glossy and not much rubbed off. NO title though. I got this bike to part out due it's nice parts, but lack of title meant it wouldn't easily be registred and ridden. The second owner says it was misplaced in the early 90's when he bought it. I still have the engine as a spare that I'm keeping for myself. No title.

Jon did you get the carrier?
