How do you route the upper radiator hose on these pwr radiators being that the outlet is straight instead of curved inwards? Guys that have these radiators, what did you do? Did you use the oem hose and bend it around the frame? Did use incorporate 90 deg elbows? Did you buy a new piece of hose?(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/100_3858_2017-04-18_262.jpg)

I think the later year hoses are setup for factory-straight inlets & outlets - maybe grab some later year hoses? That's what I did on mine.

You need a 89 hose. 86/87 radiators have curved outlets. 88/89 radiators have straight outlets.

My Clymers manual never showed a picture for the straight outlet radiators. Can someone post a pic of the upper hose attached?

Thanks for the pic Sam. I am curious now though. If you have to turn your head to get the hose to bolt up, how can you run the upper motor mount?

Best pic I have right now. Ill post another later. U need an 88-89 rad hose. No u do not turn the head.

My head is on correctly. That's how the pc's are, guess I didn't think about that when I posted. My bad

Thanks for the pic Josh. That does help. Looks like it's time for some new radiator hoses!

EBay has those nice colored silicone rad hoses on the cheap.
