Title: Laeger frame modification
Post by: Tbone07 on December 08, 2014, 09:50:58 AM
I was thinking about having a few modifications done to my Laeger...

front fender support mounts
rear fender support mounts?
new skid plate mounting tabs
lower frame rail reinforcement
support plate for the lower narrow frame rails (as i've seen on the XC versions)
and maybe a few others

Who is the best to send this to? I'm leaning towards Jerry White but i'm not sure if he's doing work yet due to his illness. I'd probably rather send it to him over Laegers

Opinions?

I would send it to Laeger and let Mark do whatever you want to it.

Does Mark actually work there still?

Mark or Jerry but if given the option and he is up for it I would go with Jerry. He has great ideas and attention to detail.

Hands down, Mark. He still has the jigs and can make it happen. Plus, it's more cost effective and you'll get it back quicker. Would you take your Durmax to a Ford dealership?

I agree he does grest work, just a little too outside the box. Plus, he's done with the ATV world from my understanding. I will say some of those beads Jody laid on an aluminum tank I saw were unbelievable. He's another guy I'd trust working on my bikes. Both Jerry and Jody are fantastic fabricators. I'm just saying I wouldn't blink an eye before sending it to Mark's house. ;)
