Does anybody run skid plates on there lower a arms? Just trying to decide if I should buy a set or not.
-
If you run in the rocks they can be an arm saver. Plus if you want to sell your arms the value is higher. Who wants a arms that are beat to you know what on the bottom.
-
Anyone make any for aftermarket arms or know any that fit? I don't think I e ever seen any....
-
That's a good point. Cheap insurance.
I was wondering the same thing. I'm going to ask JD since that's the arms I have. Otherwise I'd get a set of off the shelf ones and modify them. I don't really like the clamp on style any way

I vaguely remember someone offering polyurethane a-arm skid plates, I believe it might have been Maier but not sure.
Polyurethane would be perfect because of it's light weight
-
I'll check. Kased plates makes a Polly belly skid I'm going to get. I could probably ask him about the arms also
-
I neglected the fact that there JD MGC arms. Dave says I have to make my own
-
I had to make them for the Rolls. Those MGC's will be tricky.(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/172_3479_2017-04-18_9285.jpg)
