Title: a arm skid plates

Does anybody run skid plates on there lower a arms? Just trying to decide if I should buy a set or not.

If you run in the rocks they can be an arm saver. Plus if you want to sell your arms the value is higher. Who wants a arms that are beat to you know what on the bottom.

Anyone make any for aftermarket arms or know any that fit?  I don't think I e ever seen any....

That's a good point. Cheap insurance.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm going to ask JD since that's the arms I have. Otherwise I'd get a set of off the shelf ones and modify them. I don't really like the clamp on style any way

I vaguely remember someone offering polyurethane a-arm skid plates, I believe it might have been Maier but not sure.

Polyurethane would be perfect because of it's light weight

I'll check. Kased plates makes a Polly belly skid I'm going to get. I could probably ask him about the arms also

I neglected the fact that there JD MGC arms. Dave says I have to make my own
