Title: 38 pwk idle screw?

broke another plastic 1 off can i replace it with a brass 1 even though they say not for use with chrome slides? will it hurt anything? im tired of breaking the crappy plastic ones off

Plastics one do suck. Keihin puts thread locker on them. I imagine the brass will cut through the chrome. Then you run the risk of the chrome peeling. Which can cause its own issues. Check the slide on a regular basis and replace if necessary.

A nylon screw might work.
