On many websites fox floats are listed for our 250R's. Fox does not make a specific float for us. This may be the same case with rear.

Ya, I'm pretty sure the rear shock is unique to the 250r. The bottom hole is larger than 450's and the 400ex shock is much shorter.

I would be surprized if was not a option for the most popular race quad though. They sell the 2.0 shock for the banshee for cry out loud, that's not even a race quad or at least not for MX racing.

To my knowledge, Fox has never made shocks specific to a 250R. Fox is into mass production, nothing custom about their operation, guess they see no demand for a quad that was only produced for four years over 25 years ago. If you see a Fox shock on a 250R, it was because is was cross referenced with another brand that Fox does produce a shock for and found to work. I have only seen 450R fronts used on a 250R, I have never seen a Fox rear shock on a 250R.

Guess they see a market for the Banshee shock, looks like it is the same shock for 19 model years worth, that is a lot of Banshee's.
