Title: ATV Galaxy
Post by: muthahucker on January 19, 2015, 05:21:04 PM
Has anyone else dealt with ATV Galaxy on Ebay?  I have bought several large items from them in the past with no problems.  I bought one of the Duncan front bumpers from them in early December for Christmas and it has never arrived.  ATV Galaxy has still never responded to 3 emails requesting an update on its status.

Up until now I have had good service from them, wondering what other members impression of them is.

Never had a problem with them but never tried contacting them or asked them any questions though

I just ordered a tank from him yesterday so too early to tell for me. He's huge on eBay and I would think he has to be a good seller but who knows. He has a website outside of eBay. Did you try calling?

Hmmm - bought a few things from them in recent months (including a Duncan bumper) and never had an issue.  Keep us posted with what you find out.

not sure ive bought anything from atvgalaxy but just very recently i tried to buy something from oemcycles which seems to be a large seller on ebay. description said he had 9 items available so i used the buy it now option. couple days later they send a message saying the distributor is out of stock. i wasnt real happy and told them that. still they have that item for sale and it shows plenty in stock but in fact they have none in stock. first time ive ran into this problem and it was pretty irritating. the only good thing is they did refund my money immediatly

forgot to mention but i also purchased a item from atvunlimited which showed they had the item available. was supposed to ship already but it hasnt. so im betting it may turn into a situation like the oemcycles deal. im thinking theyll tell me their distributor is out of stock. although ive already paid for the item

bought another item from lytleracinggroup and the same deal. said the item was available in the description and should of shipped but hasnt.

i figured if it said the item was available then it was 100% that they had it.  turns out that isnt the case. kind of pisses me off these places say they have the item but infact they dont

Yea I bet you will get a reply within 24 hrs if you file a PayPal complaint. Bad buyer feedback I'd detremental to these big eBay sellers. EBay had to make it this way cause of all the scammers getting away with selling crap and screwing people over

ATV Galaxy is no joke in size, currently over 43k listed products and well over 100k feedback points @ 99.01 positive! My guess each sale goes to a different employee so something as simple as a sick day, vacation, or loosing someone could lead to what your going through. Try emailing them directly through their site which may be filtered through a Customer service type position. Worked for me and I got an apology and what size T-shirt do I wear.

There's 100 bad feedbacks in the last 12 months. That's pretty crappy but out of 25K some sales that's areound 1%. For a company 1% is an acceptable failure rate. Bad for the lots of customers but not bad for the seller. IMO he shouldn't sell stuff he doesn't have and there's no reason at all to not ship and not communicate with a customer but they will probably not fix their problem

just call. too many ppl sit on waiting for emails these days when u could talk directly to them with a quick phone call.

also i do think its BS when people create ebay listings about parts without knowing if the warehouse they are middle manning for is out of stock or not. so aggravating.

So I finally got a reply from them.  Apparently the Duncan front bumpers are back ordered from Duncan, problems with the chrome.  They say that they sent me an email thru ebay to advise me of this, but I never received one.  They apologized and asked if I wanted my money back or to wait, and to call them directly next time for a rebate on another order.  Ive decided to wait for this bumper to arrive, I have had good service from them up to this order.  Hoping this was just an oversight by someone.

Looks like someone was having a bad day. I returned a black IMS 4 gallon tank cause it was full of pits. She tried to charge me with restocking fee. I believe their add says
Hassle-free returns  30 days money back or item exchange, you pay return shipping. I was not going to pay restocking fee or return shipping. It's not my fault IMS does not maintain their molds.

I'm thinking of ordering some a arms and shocks through them, should I be worried or just order directly from Lonestar, which I somewhat leaning towards since it's only a bit more money

I bought my hipers through them I took almost 2 months to get them and I was getting the run around but they did give me the red rings instead of black free which are usually more money

if your in a hurry then order direct from lonestar. otherwise order from him and wait a while. the problem is he sells things that he does not have in stock.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure. I saw a lot of comments that went both ways. Wrong sizes, slow shipping etc, but sounded like they would make things right most likely.

They do a ton of business and the reality is - a lot of things get drop shipped from the manufacturer.  You could talk to ATV Galaxy and see if they have the A-Arms you want "in stock" but it's more likely that LSR will have to build them, finish them how you want, and then ship to you.

Thanks, that's what I figured from other people's comments. They have good deals on some things, so I'm sure I'll buy from them in the future.  But something like this, I'll probably just contact LSR directly since the price point isn't too different.
