Picked up an 87 250R for a nice price, goal was to rebuild it anyways, but then noticed the frame was bent a lil and well having a hard time finding a frame. Any ideas on where I can pick one up and not have to pay $3000 + for a racing frame. Also have any of you heard of using a different frame, say a 450R or 400ex frame?
Thank you for your time.

Keep an eye out on the forums, Facebook pages and Craigslist. You will come across one. I just picked up a nice 87 frame a week ago.

Thank you for the tip.

Many aftermarket chassis's come up for sale for week under the $3k mark. Lone star and aren's are typically in the $1200ish range. You could be pro active and post "wanted" in the suggested websites.
Good luck

+2 on posting here in the Wanted section, even posting on Craigslist. It's amazing how many people have things they'll sell but just need to be asked.
When searching, (craigslist / ebay) be sure not to JUST use "trx250r".. Search 250r, honda 250r, trx 250r, along with trx250r as many label them different. Also search title and description because some may just put "Atv frame" in the title.
