Had some fun with friends this weekend. I didn't get to race but just hung out. All these guys have been doing this race for years.

Haha I love it man!
-
Looks like I missed a good race! Always next year!
-
I will be racing next year. Without going to watch it first, there is no way I would have been setup for this. The racing there is crazy. Karts upside down, quads upside down. People getting hauled off on stretchers.
Fast racing on a small track.
-
Any vids Steve!?!?
-
I will get some posted. The best part was in the pits. Lol

I like it! We used to race atc70's indoors. 140cc engines and they go pretty good. silverlake250r did the go kart tire thing too. It was all a ton of fun!
-
Looks like some sketchy racing!! Not much opportunity to pass, that's for sure.

Man that looks like a riot lol. Although hanging to the one side the entire time would suck
-
That looks bad ass. If you watch the first vid compare how smooth the guy in front is to the one in last. Smooth is fast.
I would like to know more on the setups. That offset axle?
-
A friend took pictures of some of the setups. I will get them and post up. They had everything from spacers to kart axles welded to stock axles.
Very few quad guys ran small tires. One guy running a 450 told me he made too much power for the small tires. Setup is WAY more important than horsepower.

Wonder why the quad guys never picked up on the fact that most all the kart's run a 40mm axle? You can slip in a 40mm axle into any aftermarket bearing carrier and slide the axle darn near all to the right, creating the offset. All the hubs for the Kart wheels are pinch bolt style with a keyway, use the quad style sprocket hub and brake hub. Super clean that way, but most of these are old skool setups which is cool as heck
-
Most karts use a 1 1/4 axle. And with very little effort it can slip in a honda carrier stock or aftermarket.
