Title: cylinder base studs depth

just got a set of longer cylinder base studs for a stock cylinder with a spacer plate. anyone know how deep I need to sink these studs? they aren't much longer than the stock ones. any help would be appriciated

I like to sink mine 100% of the way into the case halves if possible, leaving enough stud left over to come up a little past the base nuts when tightened.

Although now that I think about it i'd be worried about the base studs tightening even further if they move when you go to tighten down the base nuts. I do allow the loctite to cure for a good amount of time before going any further, but not 100% sure. Maybe someone else could chime in
