Title: What is the difference between the 86 &87-89 rad

I have been looking at nifty silicone hoses for sale and I recently saw a used set on here and some one asked what year radiator they were for. I know my R is a mash up of many years so I would like to identify what radiator is on it. The only thing I know for sure is the frame is 86. Thanks in advance for the help.

If I remember right the only difference is the spouts. the 88-89 are straight and the 86-87 are elbows.

Just checked out some rads on fee bay and it looks like the spouts are as stated
