If only this wasnt a pro peg this would be mine
-
I was going to modify it, but then I found a Laeger.
-
Are the front engine mounts included? I don't see them pictured.
Also are there any cracks anywhere or previous repairs? Thanks
-
Yes, the billet front mounts are included. No cracks or previous repairs. The powder you see is original.
-
Last call and this is headed for
feebay! Anyone?
-
Are these the ones that have fitting and cracking issues? Did you ever have this built?
-
I've heard that people had cracking issues with the JP (pre-Lonestar) and early Lonestar frames. I have owned several now and have never had any cracking or fitment issues. I will say this: Any frame will crack if it's abused (casing jumps, bouncing off of rocks, etc.) That includes Laeger's (which I own) and Lobo.
-
I should also add that I have only owned the Baja frames, which are beefier.
-
I would not be afraid to buy this. I would have already if I had the cash. I got a 02-03 Lonestar mx frame with no issues and it has seen alot of track time by 3 different riders.
-
Thanks red88r. Ran many XC races with my other Baja and it was a tank. Never any trouble.
-
If you can take those pro peg bars off and make it regular 89 mount pegs ill take it
-
thats what a grinder and a cutoff wheel is for m8 ;)

I SOOOOOO want to buy a frame like this someday, and slowly build my dream R. Someday, someday. Looks like a great deal on a great frame. Can someone tell me the difference in a propeg frame and a regular? I assume those long rounds extending to the sides, are to mount a specific proprietary LS peg/nerf system?
-
Not LSR specific, just pro peg style nerfs. Regular frames have the 89 stock style peg mounts.
-
Ok I see. Man, if I had the cash right now, I would take this off your hands......
