That is not a bad price at all! You must take into consideration that these 86/86 pegs are so hard to find maybe 1 in 6 months pop up on eBay, but I paid $200 for my first pair and $350 for second pair. And both were worth every penny I paid for them!!

I'm confused at what the big deal is honestly. I'm not trying to bash. But I am curious at why people would pay so much and go through so much trouble for a pair of pegs when they can get these: http://tinyurl.com/nrn4lg4 for a fraction of the cost. They look just as nice as the Roll Design pegs and look like they function just as well. They're also stainless so they can be polished up to look shiny too. I have a pair of Roll Design pegs on my 86 so I know they're a quality set of pegs that are durable. But I still don't understand what the big deal is about them compared to other good alternatives. Is it just a name brand thing?

it is a collectable thing i guess, but even still no offense to trxjeeper, but his pegs are ugly they have no character

The roll pegs are hard to get for our quads. For 86/87 its even harder. Yes, part of it is because of the brand. I agree with Jesse I don't love the look of the unhinged pegs. There is a way for us to get Roll pegs on our R frames. However only for 88/89 pegs. I guess I should make a post about it

People like, what they like! I personally love this look! Glad I have some! :encouragement:

Yes I'm a collector but I ride my collection or retired bikes at least 1 time a year. But ever since I bought my 1st set of Roll pegs I have never looked back now all my bikes have Roll pegs. Not only do they look cool but the illusion it gives me knowing I have a huge platform under my feet is priceless and I would definitely pay more than $300 cash anyway for another set!!!!
