Title: Reservoir interchange for works triple rate
Post by: patman13mia on February 28, 2015, 08:42:39 PM
So I just bought a set of works triple rate s/t shocks for my 250R and was wondering if there was any other reservoirs that I could use to add to the shocks before i buy from straight from works.  I've read a little bit on 85 ATC rear shock reservoir working.. Has anybody ever seen or heard of doing this upgrade??

I can't help you much here as I'm not a suspension guru. I can tell you I have seen many aftermarket front shocks that utilize the stock rear reservoirs.

Looks like most all use ΒΌ line. I have some works/PEPs that use the Honda resi can. I think I have some TCS shocks that do the same. I'll go check

These are my personal shocks. Both different brands but rebuilt by TCS. Both have stock cans.

if you would have asked or posted this ad 2 weeks ago I would of sold you a par of razzes. I take all my rezzies of my works shock and have them rebuilt without them.

I have the same upgrade as Hawaiisr. I didn't do it but bought em that way. They look just like the stock honda canisters. If you want any close up pics of them or any kind of measurements just lemme know.

Dang those look really nice!! Im gona shine mine up like that also and paint my springs red and white. I got some triple rates.. I was looking at my rear shock and the reservoir doesnt use a threaded cap on the end it has a brake line type of deal with a banjo bolt. Can i see a photo of the can?
