Title: Old School CMC Golden State Nationals Huron California from Dec 85 or Jan 86

I found an old envelope with a few old school photos inside. These photos are from a CMC Golden State Nationals race in Huron Ca. It was a winter series so these had to be taken dec 1985 - jan 1986.

3wheeler start L to R Curtis Sparks, Eddie Sanders, ?Fowler?, Jimmy White with the holeshot.
edit=That "might" be a young Charlie Shepherd behind Eddie by his left elbow before his time with kawi. hmmm thinking...digging deeep...its very foggy in here.

I am surprised that I didn't have 1 of Curtis only and pit shots of Eddie and Curtis R's.

Quad start all yellow pre honda takeover.

Jim Puttman 12 ( he did a lot of magazine stuff and this is very possibly a magazine project quad ) in front of I believe his name was Jeff Watts.

That is it. I wish that I had more.
I will play around with my scans to see if I can improve these a little. Poor quality to start but a little better then shown.

Some old ticket stubs that were in the 29 year old envelope.

It was cool and probably very new being that I searched it out for a photo and didn't search out eddie or curtis hondas for photos.

I played with this dark shot of Eddies 250r a little. Junk quality but you can now see it is an 86 seat with short track tank.

edit= Man I am beating myself up over not having photos of eddie and curtis R's like I took of jimmys tecate. That would be so cool to have posted right now.

Interesting idea.. I know he is probably too busy to be on here with us but maybe a slow in your spare time type interview / questions via email. Maybe I will try to get something.
