Title: What desert tank is this??

I just scooped up this desert tank for next to nothing.. I wanna buy a cover for it either black or white but cant identify exactly what it is.. I know for sure IMS but is it 3.6 or 4.0 tank? Also is it an older style? Sorry for only 1 picture i can get more up tonight if need be

IMS tank 3.6; on the bottom it should TRX-9

X2 on it being a IMS 3.6 gallon tank.  I have 2 of them (new).  they have TRX-1 on the bottom.  I have a few new tank covers for them.  patman13mia, I will pm you with the cover info

Not to jack this thread but im going to anyway (sorry patman) lol does the 3.6 tank work with standard length stem? Anyone have some pics of a 3.6 tank with standard or +2 stem to see how it looks on the bike?

Ey dude no problem, jack away!! Lol but to answer your question, i have a stock steering stem and i need a +1  +1 fwd to clear the tank from lock to lock.. Plus i think it would give a better feel anyways.

Yepp mine also says trx-1 on the bottom also.. How does yours turn??

It turns pretty well. I get more resistance from my headlights.
I tried to post a pic but no go. I'll try again in a minute.
