Wow, was it a crazy, but awesome weekend! I went to watch round 1 on the mx nationals which is also round 1 of our race series (SEQUADS). I saw some really fast guys in quite a few classes. Some of our race team (Frankenstein MX) did quite well also. This was my first national to go to and the first time I have seen the pros race. Couldn't believe what I saw! Man, those guys are just stupid fast! It made me realize that I had to redefine what I considered to be fast. They would go around turns so fast, it was like they were defying the laws of physics. I was left in aww thinking "how is that possible?" If you ever get a chance to go watch a national, I highly recommend it. I saw a bad tumble by John Natalie right in front of me. I saw a huge battle for first between Chad Wienen and Joel Hetrich. It was a dang good time!

You are 100% right. I remember my first national a long time ago at High Point and like you said, it really opens your eyes to what fast is. The videos and highlights on youtube do not do it justice at all. I'm not talking about just pros either. All classes at the national level are fast.

Yup basically nationals are a step above amature racing. B class National riders are competitive at amature local A class's and so on for all the other class's. Its just turned up another notch.
