Post by: Victork on March 30, 2015, 07:02:12 PM
Does anyone know what make axle this is? I was told LSR when i bought the bike but it doesnt have any numbers in the center and i know LSR usually says LS-XXXXXXX etc. (http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/79_4980_2017-04-18_8212.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/79_4981_2017-04-18_7317.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/79_4982_2017-04-18_4743.jpg)

I would guess RPM because it does not taper out to the ends. I don't think Durablue does either but I don't think it is a Durablue.  Pretty sure it is not a LSR either.

Take it off a huge jump and flat land it....if it breaks it is a Durablue.  Lol  If it bends...LSR.  If it stays straight as a arrow then you know what make it is.

Are the Spline count the same for all 3 brands?

How wide is the axle? It could be Oem with an aftermarket sprocket hub.

If I am not mistaken the splines on the sprocket hub on all durablue axle are proprietary. Meaning only durablue sprocket hubs will fit durablue axles.
So that might be a way to eliminate durablue.

Its a hair under 40 inches so oem is out. If someone feels like counting the sprocket hub splines for me have at it

LOL Exactly!
I think the hub splines on RPM are cut all the way down to the collar, can't remember for sure. I'm thinking it's durablue

Durablue X-33 has 24 splines
Lonestar axle has 39 splines
Oem axle has 39 splines

Wish I could have counted the splines on my other durablue axle,  but it is buried in storage.
