What has anyone else used for mounting the brace to the plastic fender part? Did anyone use bushings to space it or have just as good of luck bolting the fender to the brace? Thanks

I just bolted mine directly and used a fender washer on the underside.

I thought I red somewhere in the past the fender is prone to cracking. Thanks

I used small rubber bushings underneath the fender and on top of the fender where the metal touches the plastic on my ATC350X and that what I didnt have to tighten it all the way down and it has been fine for 3 years now with no cracks.

I ran mine from 1985-2002 and never had a problem. I could even scan the Hondaline insructions that come with them and that is how they show to do it. I also had the fender extension on it that added stress, especialy with mud underneath it. Not saying it would hurt to use a rubber bushing either.

I'd still have this ATC if my ex-wife did not steal it
