Title: Keihin PWK Air Striker Float Level
Post by: F-Red on April 28, 2015, 12:29:20 PM
I fired up the 350. Took her down the road for a little test ride. Going through the first couple of gears, down shifting no problem. Got her up into fourth, and she dies. Like I lost power or fuel. I checked the obvious, spark, fuel flow out of the petcock. Everything checks out. Removed and cleaned the carb. No signs of debris or any blocked orifices. So I check the float level, blowing in the fuel inlet, it shuts off at this position. Does this look a little low? And could this be my problem, with the bowl running out of fuel? I checked the gas cap vent and all the vent hoses, on the carb. Thanks guys.

From the bottom of the float, to the edge of the carb, where the bowl sits. Thanks Jesse.
