The BDT motor could be your problem. guys who have bought these motors have had many issues. broken base studs, things stick in the exhaust(BDT wurks exhaust), wrong size piston, and etc. carlos, is not a trustworthy guy.

Who is BDT? Never heard of them!

call your builder

i just emailed carlos but what do you guys think it might be the motor fired twice and then no spark now

Check your stator after you make sure grounds are actually grounded. You can check the black/red wire for acceptable resistance. 50 to 250 Ohms. The higher to better.

About a year ago, one of our members received his motor from bdt for the 3rd time (after breaking the base studs twice) and it ran for a bit and then had issues .If I remember correctly the pickup behind the stator had not been tightened down. If you sent your own motor to them there is no guaranty that you got the actual stator or any of the original parts that were on your motor. It would be in your best interest to only deal with Carlos on this until your satisfied .If he knows you are posting on this forum ,he will turn on you in a heartbeat.

Double check your flywheel key seems like someone had that issue and it caused some of those same issues.
-
Make sure the pick up is tightened down with locktite as well.

Check all connections. Pull on them. Even the plug boot to wire. I've had it break off and didn't know it.
