Title: power valve removal
Post by: sameltoe on May 18, 2015, 09:20:06 PM
Besides the obvious of removing the 2 bolts how does the pv come off? I've smacked it with a dead blow and got it to twist, but it binds up the blade. Wth??

That seems odd. The rave on my pro x cylinder slides right out. Can you give the blade some "love" with with wood dowel from the inside? Maybe unscrew the bellows to see more.

Does the blade move freely when you push on it from the bottom?

Ya the blade moves freely when "centered".
Does it recess in it at all? All I know is it takes in oring to seal against the jug.

Iv'e never had my housing off, but have pulled the blade out by unscrewing the plastic top from the blade. The diaphragm seals to the plastic top , and to the housing. Thars as far as I have gone with it though. This is after removing the black plastic cover.

Got it...there was a 3rd bolt...
I've neglected it...
Actually had to use a paint stir stick and the dead blow to get the blade out.

Not sure how you could get the blade out without taking off the base 4WHLr
