It looks like it could be a hybrid. Bracketry for a battery on the subframe and room for the intake to pass through.

Doesn't me it never had a thumper in it at one time. Who knows the batter bracket could be for a lighting system. What does it have for rear suspension?

That's a shock reservoir mount..it uses all 86/87 style parts
